WPM manages nearly 25,000 homes in the Mid-Atlantic region, so there’s always exciting news to report about our people and properties.
Seventh Consecutive Year Receiving This Award
For the seventh consecutive year, WPM Real Estate Management, one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s premier property management companies, has been recognized as a Top Workplace in the Baltimore area by The Baltimore Sun. Ranked sixth among the large-sized workplaces, WPM continues to be honored for creating a positive work environment and investing in its employees through ongoing training and development. To that end, WPM received top honors for its commitment to training.
“We are privileged to work with a team of Associates that share a commitment to continual improvement,” says WPM President James Dahlgren, Jr. “We foster a growth mindset and culture of learning among our teams, encouraging collaboration and providing opportunities for professional development, community impact and continued career growth.”
WPM manages more than 23,000 units across more than 150 properties, ranging from residential and senior living to commercial, retail and industrial real estate. WPM invests significant time and energy building high-performing teams through training and professional development.
The firm’s more than 500 employees also give back to the greater regional community. This year, WPM Associates participated in a number of initiatives, including partnering with the Irvine Nature Center in August to build a “Hodgepodge Lodge 2” – a cottage-like structure that serves as a hub for nature exploration for Irvine’s guests. Additional service events included raising more than $36,000 for United Way of Central Maryland, preparing food packages for children in partnership with Baltimore Hunger Project, and walking to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s. In addition, Associates participate annually in a number of drives for school supplies, food goods, and holiday toys.
“It’s an honor to be awarded this designation for the seventh year in a row,” says WPM Chairman Mark Caplan. “Our Associates continue to inspire us, looking for new ways to improve and elevate how we operate to better serve the needs of our customers. It is their dedication, energy and pursuit of excellence that drives our business and makes WPM an engaging place to work.”
