WPM manages nearly 25,000 homes in the Mid-Atlantic region, so there’s always exciting news to report about our people and properties.
WPM Real Estate Management, one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s premier property management companies, has once again been named a Top Workplace in the Baltimore area in The Baltimore Sun’s annual report. WPM ranked fifth in the category of “large-sized workplaces.” This is the sixth consecutive year that WPM has been honored for its positive work environment and commitment to ongoing employee professional development.
“We are pleased to once again be named a Top Workplace,” said WPM Chairman Mark Caplan. “The reason we receive this award year after year is because of our Associates. Our Associates are a team of experts who work together to provide the best service for our clients. This collaborative spirit underpins everything we do, creating a culture that invites open dialogue, recognizes and rewards hard work and leverages talent throughout the organization.”
WPM manages more than 19,000 units across 150 properties, ranging from residential and senior living to commercial, retail and industrial real estate. WPM invests significant time and energy building high-performing teams through training and professional development.
The firm’s nearly 500 Associates also give back to the greater regional community. This year, WPM Associates participated in a number of initiatives, including the refresh of Exeter Gardens, located in the Jonestown neighborhood of Baltimore. Additional service events included participation in a school supply drive, a food drive, an Alzheimer’s walk, and a Toys for Tots holiday toy drive.
“I’m proud to work for a company built on the core values of integrity, strength, energy, and excellence,” says WPM Vice President and Director of Business Development Jim Dahlgren. “Our success is a direct result of our Associates, who live out these values every day. They work hard to positively impact the lives of more than 36,000 people. We understand that we are entrusted to manage people’s homes and do everything in our power to earn and keep that trust. The reward for our work is seeing each community thrive as a result. Our people plus a fulfilling mission make WPM a great place to work.”
