WPM manages nearly 25,000 homes in the Mid-Atlantic region, so there’s always exciting news to report about our people and properties.
WPM Real Estate Management has promoted Josh Kagan to Service Operations Manager of its Maintenance and Construction Services Division. In this new role, Josh will be responsible for leading WPM’s team of skilled field technicians as well as the internal office team. He will continue to work closely with the Division President, Michael Klein, to oversee insurance claims, contracted projects, and daily operations for the division.
“Josh has demonstrated both strong technical know-how and an unwavering commitment to quickly assessing what’s needed, mobilizing teams to address damages or unexpected repairs, and resolving issues for tenants, homeowners, and clients,” says Michael Klein, WPM President of Maintenance and Construction Services. “He recognizes the importance of acting swiftly, while also carefully weighing what’s needed to implement a solid and effective solution with a proactive approach.”
Josh Kagan joined WPM in 2017. Prior to this promotion, he served as Project Estimator for the division. Before joining WPM, Josh worked a variety of jobs related to construction, including building out commercial kitchens throughout Baltimore. He was part of a large crew that built the Four Seasons in downtown Baltimore. He has also rebuilt and renovated many historic homes throughout Baltimore (Bolton Hill, Roland Park) and Washington D.C. (16th street, Georgetown).
Josh was recently invited to join WPM’s Executive Advisory Committee, which consists of rising leaders within the company who promote ideas and changes that help foster continual improvement. Josh earned a BFA with a minor in Art History from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and lives in Baltimore City near the Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus.
“I’m excited to be stepping into this new role,” says Kagan. “We have a diverse team with many different talents and unique abilities. Working together, we’re able to help homeowners, tenants and our clients effectively resolve both planned and unplanned disruptions, helping them get back to their daily lives.”
